The Center for Spiritual Living - Redding, offers many opportunities for group meditation practice. All sessions are led by a meditation facilitator who may open the meditation with chanting or a contemplative reading and end with a spiritual mind treatment. Our facilitators are experienced meditators who bring their own style to the practice. Among the offerings are:

In addition to the meditations that are lead by our meditation facilitators, we are very happy to have other community meditation groups using our Spiritual Practice Pavilion.

Creative Living Class

The intention of Creative Living is to promote personal growth and spiritual/psychological wellness. When you complete the class, you will look back and see it as a positive, pivotal point in your personal journey. This is an opportunity to experience psycho/spiritual counseling in a group setting. If you are interested in exploring blocks that may be holding you back from a deeper experience of living, we invite you to sign up.

Creative Living meets on Thursdays for 30 weeks beginning September 15, 2011, from 6:30 to 9:30 PM, at the home of Revs. Judith and Bob. The class is limited to nine people with three alternates. Tuition is $790 per person which includes a deposit of $40 to hold your place in the group. SOM® 100 is a prerequisite for this class. Download the flyer.

"Living the Essential Self" Monthly Retreat Series

One Saturday per Month Beginning September 17, 2011 - May 2012; 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Some students have asked for an experiential rather than an intellectual class that expands individual consciousness. Rather than pursuing the path of licensed practitioner or minister, they were seeking and discovering alternative, authentic ministries. Everyone has a ministry – it is the calling of the soul. People from all walks of life want to live authentically. This day-long retreat series was created to fill this need. It provides an avenue of success that allows the Essential Self to emerge while participants continue with everyday activities.

This series benefits anyone who is truly committed to personal unfoldment. It is a progressive series which fosters an unveiling of original innocence and an awakening to the essential SELF. Those who have completed the series continue to step into the stream of life with new confidence as strong expressions of the Essential Self. Download the flyer.

Mystic Monday

First Monday of each month from 7:00 to 9:00 PM

Beginning January 2, please join Rev. Sue the first Monday of every month for nine months as we explore the wisdom of the Mystics. Each month we will delve into the sacred teachings and wisdom of a sage that has inspired our understanding of the Spiritual nature of man. In January it will be dedicated to the Gospel of Thomas. In our discussion we will explore the sayings and wisdom of Jesus as revealed through Thomas. Download the flyer.
