ˆBack to TopThe monthly Introduction to Meditation class is back! Please join Rev. Pam Sanchez and/or Tienne Beaulieu along with guest presenters for an introduction to different meditation practices the first Tuesday of each month. The classes will be held in the Meditation Pavilion from 7:00 – 9:00 PM.
Each month will focus on a different meditation practice. The first class was “Introduction to Meditation,” led by Rev. Sharon Kennedy and presented an overview of the value of meditation, what it is and what it is not, basic postures and breathing techniques. The class is an opportunity for people who have never meditated to learn about various techniques of meditation and for veteran meditators to come and ask questions or fine tune their practices.
Our Center offers several opportunities to meditate and perform yoga throughout the week. Please click here to download the flyer for more information.

ˆBack to TopUsually The Last Friday of the Month at 6:00 PM.
We are pleased to be offering a brand-new type of service – the “Sabbath” Service, an evening service of music, prayer and lesson offered by Rev. Dr. Andrea Asebedo. The evening service, with an emphasis on the Sacred, will be offered once a month on the last Friday of the month at 6:00 PM.
The Sabbath Service will be roughly one hour in length and will feature a candlelit sanctuary, the musical offerings of Joey Carroll and Joe Asebedo and the wisdom of Dr. Andrea. Our hope is that the Sabbath Service will become a sacred touchstone for spiritual growth and community. Please plan to join us!
Second Saturday of each month, 8:00 a.m. Join our hardy bunch of green-thumbed volunteers who find spirit in the gardens of our Center. Please join us as we celebrate the renewal of the earth by weeding, planting, and preparing visual beauty for all who attend our spiritual community. Bring your own gloves!
Call Diana Woolfstead at 246-1017 for more information.
This group will be on hiatus until fall.
CSLYA is the Young Adult-themed service presented by the Center for Spiritual Living, Redding, CA. Hosted by Young Adults for Young Adults, CSLYA provides a casual space every 1st and 3rd Sundays at 5 pm for metaphysicians ages 18 to 35 (or anyone of like-mind) in the Northstate area to explore their spirituality. Guest speakers, discussions, and workshops are a few of the ways we delve into what spirituality is, how it plays a role in your life personally, and what you can do to deepen your experience on the spiritual path. We also promote live music and an opportunity to recognize and honor people from all religious backgrounds.
CSLYA is not a teen group or youth-related service. The term "Young Adults" in the CSL organization applies to people ages 18 (and out of high school) to 30 years old. At CSLYA, we are a little looser with our age group limits (18 - 35 yrs old), but the service is still very much designed for ADULTS. If you have a teenager don't forget about the Source Youth Group which meets on Sundays after church!
Also, the Centers for Spiritual Living offers a retreat for Young Adults. This year it will be held in Idyllwild, California over Labor Day weekend. Click here for information about the 2010 CSL Young Adult Retreat.

Join CSLR's New Year’s fun fitness program. Life IS a walk in the park and we’ve found 42 parks in and around the cities of Redding and Anderson. Join the CSLR Health Ministry team for a new and fun walking program that will take us on a walk through all the local parks. Each participant will be given an information guide about our parks, along with a check off sheet. We’ll be scheduling group walks throughout the year and encouraging everyone to walk independently or with friends. See if you can check off all the listed parks by the end of the year, have fun while doing it and enjoy time with other CSLR walkers!
