This month we will be delving into the wisdom of Phineas P. Quimby. What an odd name you might think. He is one of the most important contributors to the subject of mental healing. Our discussion this month will reveal the background of Quimby as a teacher and a healer. He made some astonishing discoveries and his work went on to influence many others such as Mary Baker Eddy and Ernest Holmes. He will direct us to an understanding of the Wisdom to which we all have access. Download the flyer.

Also, on Sunday, June 24th, the Youth Group will have a car wash for just $20.00 per vehicle! Summer Seminar lasts 1 week, almost twice as long as Winter Camp. It costs anywhere from $600 to $800 plus airfare per youth group member and advisor for them to attend. "The Art and Practice of Living with Nothing and No One Against You" Workshop with Gary Simmons
Saturday, March 10, 2012; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
What would life be like if you lived every minute of every day with the deep peace of knowing that nothing and no one is against you? Too often in life we believe that outer circumstances are holding us back, driving us crazy, or causing us pain. When we wait for others to change, for outer circumstances to adjust, we give away our sense of wholeness and our very freedom to craft the life our heart desires.
Humanity is poised to make an epic leap in its expression, and it couldn’t come at a more critical time. As people, organizations, and systems across the globe struggle to find a new way of being grounded in Spirit, YOU can lead the way! You can radically shift your consciousness and your experience of life. New Thought teaches that there is only One Presence, One Power and It is Good. Discover how to live this principle more fully in the midst of day-to-day challenges and consciously create from wholeness, even in times of conflict. The workshop weaves together the latest understandings emerging from brain research and quantum science with the profound spiritual wisdom at the heart of ancient and modern spiritual teachings world-wide.
During this interactive workshop, you are invited to experience powerful exercises, vivid multi-media presentations, and meaningful small and large group discussion that lay out a step-by-step approach to crafting the life you desire. Learn how to take the most trying circumstances and put them to use in manifesting your magnificence. Unlock the wisdom in your heart and learn to see the gift of Grace that is everywhere present. This is a powerful, multi-faceted experience designed to reignite and energize you to:
• Transform any circumstance into an opportunity to manifest magnificence
• Unleash more fully your unique heart wisdom
• Tune into and live more deeply from Grace
• Apply quantum principles and the latest in brain research for rapid results
• Open to the full meaning of the spiritual principle: There is only one power in the Universe, God the Good, Omnipotent
• Discover your conscious and unconscious exceptions to this principle that create incongruence and resistance
• Learn how to differentiate your “True Self” from the myths, messages, and beliefs that underlie patterns and conditioning that lead to suffering

Friday Night at the Movies: I Am
Friday, March 16, 2012; Dinner at 6:00 PM; Movie at 7:00 PM
I AM is the story of a successful Hollywood director, Tom Shadyac (Liar Liar, Nutty Professor, Bruce Almighty), who experienced a life threatening head injury, and his ensuing journey to try and answer two very basic questions: What's wrong with our world? and What can we do about it? With a film crew of four, Tom visits some of today’s great minds, including authors, poets, teachers, religious leaders, and scientists (Howard Zinn, Lynn McTaggart, Desmond Tutu, Thom Harmann, Coleman Barks, etc) searching for the fundamental, endemic problem that causes all of the other problems, while simultaneously reflecting on this own life choices of excess, greed, and eventual healing. He started by asking what's wrong with the world, and ended up discovering what's right with it. Download the flyer.
Presenter: Dwaine Briggs
Cost: $10.00 per Person for Dinner
Pre-Registration is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!
