The January Sacred Drum Circle honors the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The circle will commence with reflections from the writings of Dr. King. Drum as spiritual practice! Drumming represents the heartbeat of life, the rhythm of nature. Drum together in community, move in synchrony, attune to nature, self and Spirit. Participants should bring drinking water and a drum or any percussion instrument. Children of all ages are welcome when supervised by an adult and as long as they can participate in the practice or sit quietly to observe. Only service animals are allowed so as to minimize distractions. Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early to set up their space as the event begins promptly at 7:15 PM.
