The theme for this year’s Peace Day is “The Right to Peace:  The Universal Declaration of Human Rights at 70.”  This is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  A quote from the Universal Declaration, Article 3:  “Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.  These elements build the foundation of freedom, justice and peace in the world.”  What are your thoughts about “the Right to Peace?”  What does that mean to you?  You can share your reflections through #peaceday and/or #standup4humanright.  We commemorate the Day of Peace, a day of cease fire, with a service that calls for prayer and naming of the countries of our beautiful planet.  Please join us for this sacred service and be a part of the consciousness that knows Peace Prevails.  Download the PDF flyerDownload the list of countries.
