Following the Service, Melissa will offer a Discussion with Questions and Answers about her book, When Our Humanity Meets Our Divinity. Melissa will share a couple of stories, read an excerpt or two, and open the discussion to hear your ideas of humanity and divinity. Books will be available for purchase, or, if you already have a copy, bring it to be signed! As humans, we look for something that can help us feel like we have control, or at least some one or some thing is in   control. But what if God isn’t here to support or save us? What if God is simply to be within us? What if a divine connection between all that exists is all there is? Nothing with control or power over, but a divine potential that is ours to be immersed within? Life lived in the   paradox of our humanity and our divinity may mean that we do not have distinct answers nor the comfort and security of a definable path for our lives. We have to be able to hold the paradox, whether in ease or in discomfort, joy or sorrow, or anything in between. We must do both ~ embrace our human condition and surrender to the sacredness within it. Join the Circle to discuss!
