Rumi’s Caravan brings to life the rich tradition of ecstatic poetry, featuring the mystical poems of Rumi, Hafiz, Rilke, Mary Oliver, and others, recited by heart and performed in the ecstatic tradition. Now in its 24th year, Rumi’s Caravan is a 100-percent, volunteer-run group of poets and community leaders who believe in the power of poetry to enlighten the human condition. Its mission is to awaken delight in the heart and to restore the soul of the world through ecstatic poetry. Lavish attire is encouraged.
