STONE SOUP FOR THE SOUL
Sunday, November 29, 2026
With Rev. Lisa Carson
11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary
Suggested $20 Donation per Person (no one turned away)
As the nights get longer, it is important to find comfort in the simple things of life. We are combining the concept of Chicken
Soup for the Soul, along with the “Stone Soup” story, to create our workshop, Stone Soup for the Soul. We ask that each
participants bring something that is non-edible to show and put in our metaphorical pot. They can share how this item or
practice brings them comfort during the long, winter nights. No one will be forced to share, as you can just come and get
ideas. We will have a few spiritual practices shared by Rev. Lisa and each person will be able to go home with renewed
comfort and connections with others. $20 suggested donation, but no one will be turned away.
“We can no more do without spirituality than we can do without food, shelter, or clothing.”
