MINISTERS MESSAGE
What If?

“Today is my Peaceful Day!”   -Walk for Peace

Once again, we realize we can choose our next experiences. When we were younger many of us played the game “what if?” to tease our sense of  imagination. Maybe now we have become accustomed to just living in our habit trails. At times, life seems to stall out because each day is already consumed by its agenda. This month we are invited to pause and just imagine what are the possibilities for the rest of your days. It is a great inquiry into our nature. How are you wanting to direct your energy and make an impact? It doesn’t have to be a grand idea…maybe as simple as planting a young tree and nurturing it to become a mighty tree…that offers shade in the future on a hot day, or to be the loving tree that someone turns to for refuge in the future when they need a time out in nature.  We can live in the question “what if?” and not have to answer “why, who, or when.”  Life is calling us to live our full potential now. We step into the river of our imagination; we then tap into the possibilities of living a more fruitful experience. Planting our seeds of transformation encourages us to witness the best in ourselves and each other. I appreciate that Ernest Holmes continues to encourage us to build our faith muscles. It is such a positive encouragement.

We have our annual congregational meeting on Sunday March 8, 2026. We invite you to stay after services to look at where we have been and where we are going. It is that time of year we vision together to challenge the “what if’s” that lie ahead. This is an exciting time of change for the Center. I believe the greater good is always unfolding…that is part of my faith muscle. We stand stronger when we have the conversations that lead to visioning the highest and best outcomes. Aristotle has said “To live happily is an inward power of the soul.”  We got this! Let’s evolve together as a community into a new paradigm that continues to enrich our lives and allows us to use our voices and inspirations to make a change that benefits us all. Spring is upon us and it is the best of times to plant new seeds of growth and potential. Are you with me?

Always peace and joy…
