Please reserve Sunday, April 19, 2026, to attend the service and a workshop following the service to listen and get to know Rev. Lisa Carson, a candidate for Senior Minister at CSL Redding. As you are aware of by now, Rev. Sue is retiring at the end of June. Rev. Lisa Carson is a dynamic minister who currently is serving a Center for Spiritual Living Focus Ministry she created called “Enlighten Up.” She developed this ministry believing that by shifting one’s perspective through laughter and joy, we can help heal and create far better lives for ourselves and for the world.

Rev. Lisa grew up in Chico, California, graduating from Chico State University. She became a High School Social Studies Teacher, teaching both locally and internationally. A deeper calling ensued, leading her to a  becoming a minister in 2004. She was ordained through the Center’s for Spiritual Living in 2018. Rev. Lisa’s  experiences have included being a staff minister at CSL Sacramento, Assistant Minister at CSL Chico, and a Senior Minister for CSL Thailand. Holding workshops and speaking at Centers throughout the world, she is deeply grateful to be able to share this powerful teaching with diverse cultures and populations. She fosters interfaith cooperation and community growth. Rev. Lisa excels in public speaking and sharing spiritual     guidance, having led mindfulness workshops worldwide. One of her gifts is in outreach to enhance community engagement. Rev. Lisa also served as Youth and Family Director, Assistant Minister 2015-2019 at CSL Chico which focused on children’s spiritual growth. Besides the many workshops she has created, she has also taught various accredited and non-accredited classes for CSL, officiated weddings and memorials.
