Rev. Sue MillerBorn and Charlie Born, RScP, are teaching this relevant course about Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice, and Belonging (DEIJB). Understanding and not just assuming we understand, we will take a deep dive into these principles as related to spiritual living…as a gateway into more authentically understanding our responsibilities to “love our neighbors.” Challenging ourselves to carefully explore DEIJB are core to recognizing our own filters, implicit biases, and hidden beliefs. One of the greatest teachings of the Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz, is to “not make assumptions.” We will have enriching conversations about why these matter in today’s world.
